Channel incentives · Dealers, distributors, retailers
Dealer and distributor incentives are the highest-value reward program most companies run, and the only one with a live TDS obligation attached. The register that keeps you out of trouble is the point of the platform.
A dealer hits a target on Tuesday and has a voucher on their phone the same afternoon. Quarterly cheque runs do not change behaviour; same-day rewards do.
A multi-brand catalogue means the reward is worth its face value to every recipient, rather than a gold coin they did not want.
Rewards attach to a named scheme with eligibility rules, so payout is traceable to the target that earned it.
Custom messages, your branding, delivered by the channel the recipient reads — usually WhatsApp.
The part everyone gets wrong
Ten per cent TDS applies once the total value of benefits given to one recipient crosses ₹20,000 in a financial year. Gift vouchers are named explicitly as a trigger.
Financial year 2026–27
TDS falls on the full ₹23,000, not the ₹3,000 excess. Miss it and the real cost is ₹6,613 — 29% — once the s271C penalty, the interest and the 30% disallowance are counted.
Two harmless gestures, eight months apart, authorised by two different people, neither looking at a running total. Across four hundred dealers that is how a goodwill budget becomes an assessment. See the full cost breakdown.
The feature
Every voucher, coupon and point issued to a channel partner posts to a running per-recipient total for the financial year. When a recipient approaches ₹20,000, the register flags it before the next issue is approved — not after the auditor finds it.
Any business selling through a distribution network.
Give us a scheme you ran last year and we will show you what the register would have flagged and what it would have cost you to fix late.
